Fashion Collaboration: Karl Lagerfeld + Coca-Cola

2011 Coca-Cola Light ad

Karl Lagerfel at the launch release party of this new Coca-Cola Light designs in Paris
(April 7, 2011)

In 2010, Chanel's resident designer, Karl Lagerfel designed a limited edition Coco-Cola Light Bottle in France featuring a pink aluminum bottle cap and a black graphic of Lagerfeld's famous silhouette -- complete with his famous ponytail and all! The ads featured two of his favorite models, Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giacobini. And earlier this month, the iconic designer is at it at again, releasing three more bottle designs for the global soda giant. For 2011, Lagerfeld revisited the partnership with three new bottles featuring a color scheme of black, white, and fuchsia / stripes, polka dots, ands sparkles! The new bottles won't be released until June 2011 and the new ads are Giacobini and Rocha-less, but is as equally chic. So for now, let's just enjoy the images of the new bottles and some party photos from unveiling of the new bottle designs in Paris with waiters looking exactly like this influential and iconic designer! We're more than seeing double.

Love, KB
